Clothing Resource for HGEC 1.1 Normal Dress Meshes Conversion by Xiamara 1. Description/Use 1. Description/Use This is a clothing mesh resource for modder's to use to make new clothing for the HGEC body. It has been converted with permission from JClyde's/AcidRain226's dress mesh for Fantasy Figures. It's rigged and only needs you to add your textures, normal maps and set it up in the CS. Although this is a modder's resource rather than a mod, I have included a sample .esp with 3 dresses you can buy from Divine Elegance in the Imperial City Market District. Currently, this resource contains dress meshes for HGEC 1.1 Normal. However, future updates will include other mesh styles and some meshes for other HGEC variants. The UV map on this dress is the same as on similar meshes for Fantasy Figures, BAB, Eshme and Nioliv's Morrowind BB dresses. Textures should be fairly easy to interchange between all of these. For texturing purposes, UV map textures are included in the file.
Special Thanks to: 2. Requirements Requires the HGEC 1.1 Normal body, installed over the Exnem Eye Candy Body. These body mods can be found on TESNexus.com. 3. Known bugs, issues, hints and tips Clipping issues- Hardly any clipping occurs at all with original (unmodded) character animations and the actors in charge mod. However, clipping occurs with most (but not all) custom animation mods. Sorry, but I can't do any better after 100's of hours of rigging. The undies converted from original Exnem body will clip with the dress. Works best with either nude body or skimpier underwear such as the converted BAB string undies (BAB conversion is in progress over at the Eye Candy Forums).
Body compatibility - This works with HGEC 1.1 normal only. Other HGEC variants are going to clip. UV map stretching - occurs around the shoulder area and on some parts of the side and bust. Poly count - Not too bad, 3358 faces for the long one and 2174 for the short one. Setup in Construction Set - Currently, I've included the upperbody with these dress meshes but not the lower body. Therefore, when you set it up in the construction set, you just make it a shirt that takes the upperbody slot only. Your character's legs will still appear and it will allow you to equip other clothing items underneath the dresses. You can see an example of how this is done if you view my sample .esp in the construction set. Swaping sleeves between dresses using Nifscope - It is possible to interchange the different sleeve styles between dresses if you copy and paste the mesh parts using nifscope. If Nifscope gives you an error message when you try to cut and paste the sleeves parts, try to cut and paste over the dress body part instead. One or the other will work. 4. Contacts, etc... I can be contacted by PM on the official Elderscrolls Forums: http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/ Requests: Sorry, but I generally don't do special requests for models anymore due to problems with my real life school, work and family schedule. Instead, please make a request thread for what you want on the ES Forums. There are many modellers available and one will most likely see your request and help. Thanks to the Morrowind and Oblivion modding community and Thanks to Bethesda for creating such a great game. | ||||||
